There isn’t much to tell of the origin of Jackson. Some say he was put on this planet by extra-terrestrials who wanted the gift of ridiculous jams bestowed upon humanity. Others say he is a prophet whose teachings are strummed and sung with such intensity they can make a charging rhino stop in its tracks.

The story of Jackson’s first guitar is one of luck and timing. Historical records state that when he was eight years old an empty guitar case fell from the sky, landing at his feet. Some suggest the guitar was jettisoned from a falling aircraft where it landed in the soft mud of a swamp. There it stuck out of the smelly bog like Excalibur until Jackson grasped it with both hands and freed it from its grimy prison. Since that day, the guitar has always been near him. Even today, forensic scientists can neither pinpoint the guitar’s origin nor explain its miraculous appearance.
